Nykaa IPO Update: Nykaa's IPO open for subscription, know the opinion of experts before investing

 New Delhi, Business Desk. The Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Nykaa, a company owned by FSN E-Commerce Ventures Limited, opened for subscription on Thursday. Nykaa has fixed a price band for investors in the range of Rs 1,085 to Rs 1,125 per share. Earlier, while giving information, Nykaa had told that, it has received Rs 2,396 through its anchor investors.




According to data from BSE, as of 10:50 am on the first day of bidding, Nykaa's IPO was subscribed 0.19 times. Whereas its retail portion has been fully booked 1.02 times. The reserve portion for employees has been subscribed up to 0.06 times and for non-institutional investors (NIIs) up to 0.02 times.

According to MC Gupta of brokerage house SMC Global, "Nykaa has a good premium in the gray market. However, the issue price looks overpriced. Investors can invest till listing gains."


According to brokerage house Angel One, “Nykaa is one of the profitable unicorns in India and we believe that the company is well positioned to leverage the online beauty and fashion retail business over the next decade. Investors can put their money in this if they want. can put."

This IPO of the company involves the sale (OFS) of 41,972,660 shares by the promoter and existing shareholders with a fresh issue of 630 crore equity shares. According to market experts today Nykaa shares are available at a premium (GMP) of Rs 625 in the gray market. The company's shares are expected to be listed on BSE and NSE on November 11.


Just a few days back, market regulatory body SEBI had approved 6 companies including Nykaa and Adani Wilmar to launch IPO. These six companies had filed their initial IPO documents with SEBI during the period between May and August. These companies had received their comments from SEBI during October 11 to 14. In the parlance of SEBI, issue of comments means to issue an IPO.

Nykaa is a digitally indigenous consumer technology platform. It provides lifestyle related products to the consumers. These include their own brand products from beauty, personal care and fashion.
